We interview the latest newcomer to Malaysia’s exciting scene of Speeddating, Ken Isaac Leong!  As a young start-up Speeddating Organizer, he is also his own “Success Story“;  Ken met his wife at a Speeddating function.  He recently formed the group JuzzDate to share the story of his great fortune with others!

When did you start and what inspired you launch Juzzdate?

JuzzDate started in May 2010. I was inspired by a speed dating service provided in Singapore.

How many events have you organized so far?

I’ve organized, 2 events so far.

What is the most unique /creative event you have organized or plan to organize?

I guess it is a theme. Each of my events carries a theme. Just like my recent event “Love is the air”. The participants dance with simple dance move along with the song love is in the air.

How is your group different from the others?

Our aim is to ensure that you have a relaxed and enjoyable evening. The event is organised to allow ample time for you to mingle, both before and after the speed dating sessions, so even after your ‘mini-dates’, you have the rest of the evening to mix, chat and get to know the other guests

How many registered members do you currently have?

I have 80 registered members.

As a promoter, what are your biggest challenges in this line of work?

The greatest challenge will be getting people around. Most of the time you will get full registration only at the very last day

What can your guests expect at your events?

Plenty of planned breaks, to ensure the evening is both relaxed and enjoyable Results available of who you’ve matched with, as soon as the event has finished.

With all the events and promotions you organize, how do you find a balance with your personal life?

I keep my business and personal life with a good balance.

Besides Speeddating Events, what other activities do you organize?

I intend to do workshops to prepare our participant to ask their potential match for a date.

What is your vision for the future of Juzzdate?

My vision for JuzzDate would be a fast growing single community in Malaysia.
